Advertiser Terms

If you register on our website as an advertiser then you agree to these terms, as well, of course, our website Terms and Conditions.

In these Terms each advertisement is referred to as a ‘Listing’.

If you are providing services:

1. Your responsibility for your Listing. You agree that:
   • you have the appropriate skills, facilities and experience to be able to offer the services in your Listing;
   • you will have in force at all times such level of insurance as good practice in your industry;
   • you agree to comply with the rules of any relevant organisation of which you are a member
   • your listing will:
     • not give the impression that you are associated with or recommended by Snaffle;
     • not make any unfounded claims;
     • detail any relevant organisations of which you are a member;
     • clearly explain your charges;
     • detail your cancellation and refund policy; and
     • set out complete and accurate details of any other terms.

2. Contracting with Clients

   When you accept a booking, you are entering into a contract directly with the client and are responsible for delivering the service under the terms and at the price specified in your Listing. Payment will be made directly to you by the payment services provider, and we will not be involved in the transaction.

If you are offering products:

1. Your responsibility for your Listing. You agree that:
   • you have the products available or, if not, that is explained in the Listing;
   • you will have in force at all times such level of insurance as good practice in your industry;
   • your listing will:
     • not give the impression that you are associated with or recommended by Snaffle;
     • not make any unfounded claims;
     • clearly explain your prices;
     • detail your cancellation and refund policy; and
     • set out complete and accurate details of any other terms.

2. Contracting with Buyers

   When you accept an order, you are entering into a contract directly with the buyer and are responsible for delivering the product(s) under the terms and at the price specified in your Listing. Payment will be made directly to you by the payment services provider, and we will not be involved in the transaction.

In all cases:

1. Charges

   You must pay our charges at the times and manner we specify. If you fail to do this, we may either suspend your listing or delete it.

2. Independence

   Your relationship with Snaffle is that of an independent individual or entity and not an employee, agent, joint venturer or partner of Snaffle. Subject to our Terms and Conditions and these Terms you understand that you have complete discretion whether and when to provide

3. Know Your Legal Obligations

   You are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws, rules, regulations and contracts with third parties that apply to your services or products.

4. Data Protection

   You and we shall process personal data received under and/or in connection with your Listings each as a separate and independent controller. In no event will we and you process personal data under and/or in connection with your Listing as joint controllers or in a controller-to-processor relationship. As such separate and independent controllers, you shall be individually and separately responsible for complying with the obligations that apply to you as a controller under applicable data protection law. We will process the personal data we receive in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Indemnity

   You agree to indemnify us against any claim that may be made against us in respect of the supply, or failure to supply, any services or products by you or the breach by you of the Data Protection Act 2018.
